CRACK

CRACK

There are lots of ways we get to hear from God. So many countless opportunities He takes to communicate with us. One such way is a word that specifically “builds, strengthens and comforts” from a man or woman of God with a prophetic anointing.

Prophetic words that are spoken over someone else, can be highlighted to us by the Spirit of God, signifying that they are also meant for us. Just like the Bible, written to the original recipients, but also to us! The millions of believers the Holy Spirit reveals It’s truths to.

The other day I was sitting in a presbytery service, listening with note book open, pen poised to hear. A word was given and I knew it was for me. I’m sharing it here because it might be for you too. (I’ll have to paraphrase)

I see you standing with binoculars, surveying the horizon, searching for an open field. It is a daily occurance. You are looking for your purpose. Your calling. You find nothing and discouragement is setting in.

Then the scene changes. You are standing at a wall. a boundary. It is high and long. Insurmountable. You are looking for a door. Everyone else is looking for a door as well. Perhaps your field is on the other side of this wall. The door does not appear.

Then, you close your eyes. You trust in the Spirit of the Lord. You place your hands on the wall and begin to gently feel along it. Led by Him, your hands find the smallest crack. You trace it with your finger tips. “How is it that no one has seen this? It is so obvious to me. So clear.” You begin to enlarge the crack, prying an opening…but not just an opening. Your crack brings the whole wall down. The field is open! This changes everything for so many people!

No one else saw it coming. You didn’t see it coming either, but God led you by His Spirit…and brought forth a great victory through you.

In our quest to be WITH Him every moment of each day, we need to keep our hands on the walls in front of us. Keep our eyes closed to the circumstances, and open to the Spirit. He will reveal things to us that will benefit those around us. He will reveal our purpose.

When you read this, what do you see? Is He speaking to you? Do any scriptures come to mind, or does it confirm a word He has already given? Let faith arise in your heart. The crack of faith will take down the whole wall!
